Welcome to Anandashram High School
Located in close proximity to the Ullal Railway Station is the Anandashram High School. Established in the year 1946, the school runs classes from Class VIII to X. Being a government-aided Educational Institution, it follows the rules and regulations of the Department of Education. It predominantly caters to the educational needs of the semi-urban and rural population in the areas of Someshwar and Ullal.
Anandashram High School is proud to have as its alumni, Ms. Sahana Kumari who participated and represented India at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Sahana acknowledges the contribution of Anandashram High School in encouraging her to take up sports and achieve success.
The Alumni of this school, through its Old Students Association actively participate in all the school functions and get-togethers. They also support needy students from the school as and when required.

Anandashram High School is an aided Kannada-medium school under the management of Saraswat Education Society (SES), Mangaluru. The Society is over 100 years old and dedicated to the noble cause of education.
This School was founded on 20th February 1946 in Someshwar, Kotekar, on the outskirts of Mangaluru city, for imparting education to residents of Someshwar and nearby villages. It was commissioned by the Director of Education of Madras.
The mission at SES has been to nurture every student to become socially responsible and productive citizens of the country.
All of us at Anandashram High School give our best to provide a well-rounded education to our students. We have been encouraging students in sports as well as arts, since inception. Various cultural activities and events are organized throughout the year to ensure that students remain well connected to our roots. Some of our ex-students, like Ms. Sahana Kumari, have represented India in the Olympics and we are indeed proud of all our students’ achievements.
With the support of the Saraswat Education Society, school alumni, local bodies like the Panchayat, local organizations, and other well-wishers have been regularly sponsoring free notebooks, uniforms, bicycles, computers and even computer education to deserving students.
